Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Installation: Delivering and setting monuments, headstones, and memorial markers to ensure they are level and secure.
Foundation Work: Digging, constructing, and pouring concrete foundations for new memorials.
Restoration/Cleaning: Cleaning, repairing, and restoring older, weathered monuments and gravesites.
Grounds Upkeep: General cemetery landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and cleaning, to keep the grounds presentable.
Logistics: Driving, loading/unloading materials, and building shipping crates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
Equipment Operation: Experience with or ability to learn to operate power tools, mixers, and potentially backhoes.
Licensing: A valid driver’s license is often required for driving trucks and equipment.
