Maintenance Technician – $19.00 per hour

 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a local company in Sweetwater, TN.

 

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on conveyors, forklifts, dock equipment, racking, automation systems, HVAC, and building infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and complete timely repairs to restore operations.
• Maintain conveyor controls, sensors, scanners, and basic PLC-driven equipment used in 3PL fulfillment.
• Ensure all work follows OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and internal safety policies.
• Repair building systems including lighting, plumbing, docks, doors, and general infrastructure.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Warehouse equipment operates at optimal performance with minimal unplanned downtime.
• Issues are diagnosed quickly and resolved efficiently to keep fulfillment operations running.
• Zero safety violations, proper LOTO usage, and reduced workplace hazards.
• All work orders, inspections, and repairs are documented clearly and on time.

Maintenance Technician Shift:

• 1^st shift
• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
