Location: Country Club – North Lakeland, Florida
Pay: $10.98 per hour plus tips

Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager / Restaurant Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Part-Time Server to join the Food & Beverage team at a country club in North Lakeland, Florida. This role is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and polished service to members and guests in the dining room, patio, banquet areas, poolside service, and special club events.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while following country club service standards.
• Provide menu knowledge, answer questions, and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Monitor tables throughout service and respond to guest needs in a timely manner.
• Refill beverages, pre-bus tables, clear plates, and maintain a clean dining area.
• Work closely with food runners, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Set up, serve, and break down banquets, golf outings, private parties, and club events as needed.
• Handle member and guest concerns professionally and notify management when needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous serving, restaurant, country club, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Friendly, polished, and professional attitude with a strong focus on member and guest service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and attentive.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, carry trays, bend, lift, and move quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Must be dependable, punctual, well-groomed, and willing to follow club standards.
• Flexible part-time availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Must meet any applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Schedule

This is a part-time position. Hours may vary based on dining service, banquets, golf outings, and club events. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred.

Compensation

This position pays $10.98 per hour plus tips.
