A growing local surveying company is seeking a dependable and motivated AutoCAD Drafter to join their professional team in Evansville, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced drafting professional who is eager to grow their career and develop specialized skills within the land surveying industry. Pay & Schedule

  • Starting at $17.00/hour (based on experience and technical skill)
  • Full-time position
  • Expected hours: 40 per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Create accurate technical drawings, maps, and drafting documents using AutoCAD
  • Assist with survey drafting projects and maintain drafting standards
  • Interpret and organize field data into detailed drawings
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project accuracy and completion
  • Learn and apply survey-specific drafting techniques and standards
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Support ongoing drafting and mapping needs within the department

Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of on-the-job AutoCAD drafting experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting software
  • Architectural or Engineering drafting experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependable with a solid work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Ability to commute to Evansville, IN 47715
