Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an HR Generalist to join a well-established organization in Edinburg, TX. The HR Generalist will be responsible for administering and coordinating employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and supporting various human resources functions. This role requires strong knowledge of employee benefits administration and the ability to effectively communicate HR policies and procedures to staff.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer employee insurance and benefits programs, including eligibility, coverage, and effective dates

• Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide overviews during orientation and open enrollment periods

• Compile and maintain accurate records, reports, and technical documentation

• Conduct periodic file audits to ensure compliance

• Interpret and enforce HR policies and procedures

• Prepare HR-related correspondence and reports as required

• Support general HR functions as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, with strong emphasis on employee benefits

• Excellent knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented and able to manage confidential information responsibly
