Welder Fabricator

Located in Southfield, MI

Job Description

• Fabrication and welding of steel beams that are part of racks
• Learn the system and work independently after a few weeks

Expected Results

• Become self-sufficient within 90 days

Qualities Required

• Outgoing and friendly personality preferred
• Ability to work with various personality types on the team

Equipment Used

• MIG welders
• Carbon steel only (no galvanized or stainless steel)

Travel

• 85% in the shop, 15% in the field
• May travel to job sites as far as Grand Rapids (per diem and mileage reimbursed)

Pay Rate

• $24.00-28.00/hour (Day Shift)

Work Schedule

• Monday- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 60 lbs

Move objects up to 100 lbs

Safety Equipment

Steel-toed shoes (associate)

Welder’s gear (provided)
