Assembly Technician

Located in Joppa, MD

Salary: $18.00 per hour

An assembly technician will primarily be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to customer specifications which might include mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic assemblies. 

  

Position Responsibilities:

 

• Utilize hand and power tools to assemble product.
• Verifies product compliance to customer and company specifications.
• Communicate corrective action to the appropriate parties when necessary.
• Shift work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.
• Responsible for organization of tools and work station cleanliness.

 

Preferred Skills:

               

• Past exposure to mechanical skills in a production environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work from drawings, prints, schematics, diagrams, bills of materials, customer specifications and written/verbal instructions
• Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 50 lbs.

 

Overtime is not part of the job but can be assigned on an as needed basis.

Hours: 8am – 5pm

Pay: $18/hour
