Temporary Cook- Youth Program support with weekends off!

Salary: $19.13-$20.50 an hour

Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is seeking a temporary Cook for a local youth-focused organization. This organization is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children and teens in our community. Their mission centers around helping young people reach their full potential through mentorship, recreation, education, and positive community engagement.

 

The right person for this role takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and has experience cooking independently for groups larger than 10 people while preparing meals in large quantities. This role requires strong time management, organization, and the ability to work with limited supervision while coordinating with onsite support staff.

Pay: $19.13-$20.50 an hour, depending on experience.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
-Cooking for a large group of people
-Working independently
-Prior experience of cooking for more than 10 people
-Maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies
-Prepare meals and snacks
-Follow recipes, menu, and preparation as directed by the Director of Nutrition
-Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
