About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Property Manager to oversee both conventional and affordable housing communities. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and leasing of residential properties while providing exceptional service to residents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, legal administrative processes, and customer service, with a passion for creating vibrant, well-maintained communities. Job Description/ Responsibilities:

•    Manage daily operations of residential properties, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations
•    Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safety and quality standards are met
•    Oversee lease administration, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and lease agreements
•    Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping
•    Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Fair Housing laws, and other relevant regulations
•    Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law and eviction proceedings when necessary
•    Conduct regular property inspections and oversee vendor relationships for repairs and upkeep
•    Facilitate resident onboarding, resolve conflicts effectively using conflict management skills, and promote customer satisfaction through excellent service
•    Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, lease agreements, maintenance records, and correspondence
•    Support property leasing efforts through upselling amenities or available units to prospective tenants

Qualifications:

•    Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on affordable housing programs such as Section 8
•    Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing policies
•    Proficiency with property management software like Yardi or OneSite; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
•    Experience with LIHTC compliance and legal administrative procedures related to housing regulations
•    Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally via phone or in person
•    Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and contract management to support leasing activities and vendor negotiations
•    Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general administrative tasks
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, team members, and community stakeholders

Compensation:

$52,005.81-$62,630.65 annually depending on experience
