Swing Shift Manager – Job Description

The Swing Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing production operations during assigned shifts, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient workflow. This role includes team supervision, training, and coordination with management to meet production goals. Hours are Monday-Friday 2:30p-11:00p

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production staff during swing shifts
• Ensure daily production targets and quality standards are met
• Train, mentor, and assist employees in proper methods and safety practices
• Monitor workflow, materials, and equipment usage
• Address production issues, equipment concerns, or staffing needs
• Maintain accurate production and time records
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with management and team members

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or cabinet shop experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
