Schedule
- Sunday – Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Days Off: Thursday, Friday & Saturday

The production floor is primarily Spanish‑speaking. English is welcomed, and bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged but not required.
Job Overview
We are currently hiring Wood Assemblers to join a fast‑paced production team responsible for building custom wooden crates using cut sheets (blueprints) and power tools. This role plays a critical part in meeting customer specifications, production schedules, and quality standards.
This position is ideal for candidates with hands‑on experience using tools, who are safety‑focused, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working the night shift.
Key Responsibilities
Wood Crate Production
- Build wooden crates of various sizes using cut sheets and power tools
- Safely operate nail guns, staplers, drills, grinders, and hammers
- Assemble crate bases and platforms requiring kneeling, bending, and lifting
- Use ladders safely when assembling crate covers
- Apply adhesives and install foam per specifications
- Log production activity in the Ops Center system and follow schedules
Specification Verification
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures (within 1/8‑inch tolerance)
- Read, interpret, and report errors in cut sheets or labels
- Confirm finished crates meet customer and quality requirements
Safety & Teamwork
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
- Report defective equipment or maintenance needs immediately
- Communicate unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Work efficiently while following procedures
- Collaborate with team members in a fast‑paced production environment
Requirements
- Bring your own tools: hammer, measuring tape, and steel‑toe safety shoes
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction, landscaping, or similar work using power tools or machinery
- Basic computer skills to log job entries using employee number
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to work night shift and meet physical job demands
Additional Duties
- Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and disposing of excess wood, foam, and debris
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
