Customer Service Representative- Temporary

Salary: $20

Temporary Customer Service Representative June 1st, 2026- September 30th, 2026. The wage is $20 an hour. 

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Service team in a temporary capacity. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer support while assisting with a variety of administrative and payment-processing duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer service calls and assist customers with:
  • Account setup and maintenance
  • Starting or stopping services
  • Payment processing
  • Billing questions and general inquiries
  • Website assistance and navigation
• Make reminder calls regarding payments and bill collections
• Open, process, and balance mailed payments
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
• Serve as cashier by accepting payments, making accurate change, and issuing receipts
• Balance cash drawer on a daily basis
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office or customer service environment
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Excel
  • Outlook
  • Teams
  • Typing and 10-key entry
• Experience with utility software programs such as CIS, NextGen, and Remits is preferred
• Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and make change
• Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service

Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
30-minute lunch break
