Schedule: Part-Time | 20–25 hours based on workload

Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

A well-established manufacturing and design company is seeking an Electrical AutoCAD Designer / Engineering Draftsman to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented who can interpret existing designs and develop accurate, high-quality drawings. This role is ideal for someone who may not be a licensed engineer but has the technical aptitude to understand product specifications and translate them into precise AutoCAD drawings.

What You'll be Doing: 

  • Review and interpret existing drawings, product specifications, and box designs
  • Develop and update accurate AutoCAD drawings, schematics, and panel layouts
  • Create point-to-point diagrams with minimal supervision
  • Translate concepts and feedback into clean, detailed technical documentation
  • Help maintain and support company design standards
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining the UL program, including coordinating required testing every three years and working alongside inspectors during UL inspections

What we are Looking For: 

  • Strong experience with AutoCAD (required) and Visio (preferred)
  • Ability to understand and work from existing drawings to produce accurate updates
  • Technical mindset with the ability to grasp product details (engineering background not required)
  • Experience in electromechanical or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
