Crate Builder / Box Truck Driver

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Early morning starts (5:00 AM – 7:00 AM) | Home nightly

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Crate Builder / Box Truck Driver to support both production and delivery operations. This role combines hands-on crate construction with driving a 23-foot automatic box truck for local and occasional longer deliveries. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, professional, and comfortable with physical work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build wooden crates using power tools (nail guns, saws, etc.)
• Accurately read and use tape measures and basic hand tools
• Assist the production team with packaging and material handling
• Operate a 23-foot automatic box truck for deliveries
• Make local deliveries, with occasional routes up to 3 hours round-trip once or twice per week
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers
• Follow all safety, driving, and company compliance standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to work in hot and cold conditions
• Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday

Driving Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (not expiring in the near future)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Prior experience driving a 23-foot automatic box truck
• Willingness to complete assigned delivery routes
• No overnight travel required

Qualifications

• Experience using power tools (nail gun required)
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• English speaking required (bilingual is a plus, but not required)
• Professional appearance and customer-facing communication skills
• Must pass E-Verify
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
