What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to establish and maintain product quality standards
- Monitor site quality performance using KPIs and trend analysis
- Lead and coordinate internal and supplier audits
- Oversee corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and ensure effectiveness of resolutions
- Supervise QA Inspectors and Technicians performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections
- Support engineering change processes and ensure compliance documentation is maintained
- Coordinate calibration and preventative maintenance programs
- Investigate product quality issues, customer complaints, and service-related concerns
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, and other quality tools
- Assist with regulatory compliance and documentation management
What You Bring
- Bilingual in English and French preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Health Sciences, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing or regulated environments
- Medical device industry experience considered a strong asset
- Strong understanding of:
- ISO 13485
- MDSAP
- 21 CFR 820
- Auditing systems and quality compliance
- Experience with:
- Root Cause Analysis
- FMEA
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Gauge validation and calibration programs
- Strong project leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
