Plastic Injection Over-Mold Operator Job Summary:

A brand new Grand Rapids company is looking for a Stamping Machine Operator to join their growing team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for part production; molding, assembly, and inspection of all products.

Plastic Injection Over-Mold Operator Responsibilities:

• Place very small metal parts into injection mold for over-molding process
• Retrieving product from molding machines; both automatic and manual at standard rates
• Visually inspecting and measuring all parts according to specifications and blueprints
• Performing assembly work at the standard rate and meet all quality expectations
• Following all specifications, department procedures, and all ISO/GMP’s
• Working as a team with other Operators and Support Staff
• Understanding department goals and objectives as well as participate in advancing them

Schedule and Pay: 

• 1^st Shift, 6:00am-2:00pm, no weekends at this time posisble stay latered  could be needed but very light on OT  
• $18.00/HR-$20.00/HR

Plastic Injection Over-Mold Operator Qualifications:

• Able to retrieve product from incert molding machines; both automatic and manual at standard rates 14-16pc per minuite
• Able to visually inspect and measure all parts according to specifications and drawings/work instructions 
• Able to perform assembly work at the standard rate and meet all quality expectations 14-16pc per minuite
• Must follow all specifications, department procedures, and all ISO/GMP’s
• Must be able to work as a team with other Operators and Support Staff
• Must understand department goals and objectives as well as participate in advancing them
• Steel Toe Work Shoe or Boot and Safety Glasses required
• Must be able to work a standard 40-hour work week with occasional overtime including weekends as a possibility. Attention to detail is extremely important in this position.
• Machine Operators may be required to lift up to 50lbs but more avaerage of lifting is 25-30lbs .
