Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a medical office company based out of Lacey, WA to fill a Patient Care Coordinator position. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and providing outstanding customer service in a professional medical office setting.

This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential. Compensation is $22-$24/hr depending on experience. Once hired permanently, this company offers Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering phones
• Greeting a high volume of walk-in customers
• Planning medical providers’ daily schedules and helping keep them on schedule throughout the day
• Rooming patients
• Verifying patient insurance information
• Processing payments
• Creating new patient files
• Documentation filing and record organization

 

What You Bring:

• At least 1 year of recent office experience
• Medical insurance experience is a plus
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable following specific directions and procedures
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking throughout the day
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen (THC not included)
