Forklift Operator / Material Handler (Warehouse / Manufacturing) – Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler. This is a great opportunity for experienced forklift operators looking to grow within a warehouse or manufacturing environment with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down) and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials
• Perform warehouse material handling, including transporting inventory between storage areas, production lines, and departments
• Accurately track inventory using counting scales and basic inventory systems
• Stack, organize, and store materials safely in designated warehouse locations
• Move raw metal materials into storage racks and supply the production/saw department
• Unload incoming metal shipments and stage materials for receiving
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with general warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving as needed

Schedule & Pay

• Full-Time | Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Overtime may include weekends
• $14.00 per hour (Weekly pay)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of forklift operator experience required (industrial or manufacturing setting preferred)
• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling roles strongly preferred
• Manufacturing or metals experience a plus
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
