Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment.  This individual will be part of a team responsible for safely and efficiently producing precast concrete products of the highest quality standards. #1939ST

 

Pay: $25-$31/hr. DOE.

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment
• This maintenance mechanic will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; follow diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s instructions
• Machine installation and repair, maintenance and facilities repair, including electrical, mechanical, welding, and fabrication of special parts as needed
• Troubleshoot electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of failures and recommend solutions for repair
• Repair facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds
• Operating equipment, including overhead cranes, forklifts, rebar shear, cage machines, and band saw
• Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of equipment and work areas

Requirements and Qualifications 

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous maintenance experience with industrial equipment in manufacturing environment required
• Industry basic: welding, electrical repairs, pneumatics, hydraulics, crane repair, forklift repair and metal fabrication
• Familiar with OSHA regulations and maintain all equipment to be compliant with applicable safety and environmental standards
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day
