We are hiring a Pharmacist for a licensed and credentialed independent retail pharmacy in Port Richey, Florida. This is a full- or part-time opportunity for a licensed pharmacist seeking a long-term role in a community-focused pharmacy setting.

 Position Highlights

 Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, interactions, and proper storage
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic appropriateness
• Administer immunizations and vaccines in compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulations
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding prescription clarifications and medication therapy recommendations
• Manage inventory, medication ordering, and controlled substance compliance
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, policies, and quality assurance standards
• Provide exceptional customer service while promoting patient safety and wellness
• Perform medication therapy management (MTM) and other clinical pharmacy services as applicable
• Assist with workflow optimization and support overall pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment
