Our client is a dental clinic located in Ancaster, ON that focus’ on providing exceptional patient centered treatment.
The successful candidate in this role will have a passion for building strong patient relationships, excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
· Coordinator explains treatment plants, procedures, and associated costs to patients, ensuring they understand their options and feel comfortable
· Managing scheduling for patients and optimizing team scheduling
· Verifying patient health insurance benefits – obtaining pre-authorizations and submitting claims
· Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
What We Are Looking For:
· 2+ years of experience in a treatment coordinator role
· Experience with Dentrix
· Knowledge of dental terminology
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to maintain information collection and management system
· Must have strong decision-making skills and planning
· Excellent customer service skills
· Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
· Working knowledge of dental insurance
