Our Reading area client is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician with electronics experience for their core team! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a local company!

 

Quality Control Technician

 

Pay: $22.00- $28.00/hr depending on experience

Shift: 1^st shift Monday through Friday (7am-3:30pm)

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:

• Inspection of incoming parts and completing first article inspections, Final QC Inspections
• Review quality and quantity of finished product
• Knowledge and experience with both surface mount technology and trhough hole soldering techniques
• Reading and understanding electronic schematics
• Documenting data in Excel, Microsoft office 
• Communicating defects and issues to Supervisor

Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:

• Knowledge of and experience with surface mount and thru-hole soldering is required
• At least 2 years of experience with Electronics Quality Control
• Working knowledge of computers and basic skill with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Familiarity with IPC standards of the electronics industry is a plus
• Familiarity with reading and drawing electronic schematics is a plus
• Excellent organizational and reasoning skills
• Able to work well with others and possess excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented and able to concentrate at a high level
