Install Assistant – Flooring Industry
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a dependable Install Assistant for a local flooring installation company serving the Treasure Valley area.

This is the perfect summer job with long-term opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction and flooring industry.

 

Pay: $18.00/hour

 

Job Duties Include:

• Assisting with carpet installation
• Assisting with tile installation
• Flooring removal and prep work
• Concrete grinding and surface preparation
• Loading/unloading materials
• General labor and job site cleanup

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Most projects start at 7:00 AM
• Some projects may require different start times or schedules depending on the job site

Tools & Equipment Used:

• Knee kickers
• Tile cutters
• Grinders
• Hand tools and power tools
• Floor scrapers
• Measuring tools
• Vacuums and cleanup equipment

PPE Provided:

• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• Dust masks/respirators
• Gloves

Qualified Candidates Will:

• Have reliable transportation
• Be dependable and punctual
• Be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Be willing to learn flooring installation techniques
• Construction or flooring experience is preferred, but not required
