Heavy Machine Operator (Entry-Level | Temp-to-Hire)

Our client is currently seeking Entry-Level Heavy Machine Operators. This role is responsible for operating and setting up equipment used in bending, forming, and balancing heavy-duty components. This is an entry-level, temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady work, hands-on training, and long-term potential for the right candidate.

Pay: $15/hour

Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Monday–Friday

In This Position, You Will:

• Operate heavy machinery to meet expected hourly production rates while monitoring equipment conditions and controls.
• Set up fixtures and machinery to perform bending, forming, and balancing operations on various equipment.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections, recording results using micrometers, scales, and fixed gauges.
• Work from shop orders and drawings to verify part quality, visually inspect for defects, engage safety devices, and communicate equipment or die issues to setup personnel.

Requirements:

• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Previous experience (2–3 months) working with machinery, tooling, parts, and inspection equipment preferred, but not required for this entry-level role.
• English speaking preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Heavy physical effort required, including loading/unloading parts and frequently moving materials and tooling.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
