Safety Coordinator

Salary: $25/hour

Express is hiring a safety coordinator for a company located in the Pine Belt. 

• $25/hour 
• Day Shift
• Weekly Pay

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate employee safety training and orientation programs
• Maintain safety records, logs, and documentation
• Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning
• Collaborate with supervisors and management on safety improvements
• Track safety metrics and prepare reports for leadership
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certification such as OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or ASP preferred
• Experience in occupational health and safety, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct investigations and analyze safety data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software
