Job Summary: The Sales and Yard Operations Coordinator 1 is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities pertaining to the sale and rental of equipment.

Sales and Yard Operations Coordinator 1:
This position also manages safely locating, receiving, inspecting, verifying, and documenting assets in a yard environment. This position will also provide inventory counts and operate various types and sizes of equipment. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

 

Role Specific Essential Functions: (Sales and Yard Operations Coordinator 1)

  • Verifies and documents all assets arriving and/or departing equipment yard
  • Accurately stages and preps assets to fulfill incoming requests
  • Loads and unloads assets, conducts inspect procedures, fuels, and reports the condition of assets per safety protocols
  • Provides timely updates for all inventory items leaving and/or returning to the yard through the shipping and receiving function
  • Photographs all incoming and outgoing assets and uploads pictures following current processes
  • Troubleshoots, communicates, and problem-solve potential shipping and receiving delays on assets
  • Performs, reconciles, and completes inventory counts of machines and work tools

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Accounts Payable experience is needed, a MUST
  • Knowledge of construction equipment sales industry
  • Knowledge of business accounting principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective utilization of organizational planning, self-management, analytical problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Intermediate MS Office Excel and PowerPoint skills; Advanced MS Word skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional manner
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • Demonstrates proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and machine electronic systems
  • Dexterity, hearing, and talking requirements are constant 
  • Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Up to one year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred

Travel: Up to 5% travel maybe expected
