Location: Pharr, TX
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to Closing (8:00 PM – 10:00 PM, schedule may vary)
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (schedule may vary)

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $15.00 per hour

 

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving processes, computer systems, and Microsoft Office programs. This position requires strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor shipping and receiving activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory records by comparing physical inventory counts with system records (Excel and inventory software).
  • Identify, research, and report inventory discrepancies or shortages.
  • Conduct physical inventory audits within the warehouse when discrepancies are identified.
  • Review shipping and receiving documentation including purchase orders, sales orders, losses, and warehouse floor inventory movements.
  • Immediately notify management of significant inventory variances or concerns.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/inventory software for data entry, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  • Assist with warehouse operations and support other company departments as needed.
  • Maintain organized inventory records and warehouse documentation.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting company objectives and deadlines.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse inventories and/or produce industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience using accounting software and inventory management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist in other areas of the company when necessary.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and move inventory/products as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
