Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate (CDL B)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver with a valid CDL Class B license to transport windows, doors, and related building materials to customer job sites and branch locations. This position also supports warehouse and yard operations as needed, including loading/unloading materials, operating forklifts, organizing inventory, and assisting with general facility duties. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, team-focused, and comfortable working both on the road and in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class B delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Deliver windows, doors, and building materials to customers and job sites in a timely and professional manner
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport
• Assist customers with unloading and verify delivery accuracy
• Maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation
• Support warehouse and yard operations when deliveries are not scheduled
• Receive, stock, organize, and stage materials in the warehouse and yard
• Assist with inventory counts and general housekeeping duties
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety guidelines
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, dispatch, and management

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license with clean driving record
• Forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials on a regular basis
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Previous delivery, warehouse, or building materials experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and delivery environments

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as needed
