Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to handle repairs and general upkeep for a portfolio of approximately 100 commercial units with over 70 tenants. Properties include strip centers, office buildings, a church, and retail locations. This role is ideal for someone with broad maintenance skills who is comfortable working independently on both interior and exterior projects. The current technician is retiring, and the client would like to interview qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities
• Respond to and complete maintenance requests for commercial properties
• Perform plumbing repairs, painting, drywall and plaster repair
• Repair laminate and VCT flooring (no carpet work required)
• Complete basic electrical repairs and minor HVAC maintenance, including changing filters
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Mow lawns, weed eat, edge, and trim bushes and trees
• Keep parking lots and property grounds free of trash and debris
• Ensure properties are maintained in a safe, clean, and professional condition

Qualifications
• Previous commercial maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and flooring repair
• Basic HVAC experience preferred; EPA certification is a plus but not required
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Reliable with excellent attendance and work ethic

Location: Pensacola, FL
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm (No weekends)
