Entry-Level Graphic Designer / Production Associate

 

Position Overview

 

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and dependable Entry-Level Graphic Designer / Production Associate to join our fast-paced sign shop team. This role combines graphic design, sign production, and hands-on fabrication work to help bring customer branding and signage projects to life.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in graphic design, large-format printing, vinyl application, signage production, and visual communications within a supportive and creative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Graphic Design

• Create and prepare customer artwork for signs, banners, vehicle graphics, window graphics, and promotional materials
• Edit customer-supplied files for print production
• Assist with layout design and proof creation
• Ensure artwork meets production specifications and brand standards
• Work with Flexi and other design/production software

Production & Fabrication

• Operate large-format printers, laminators, vinyl cutters, and finishing equipment
• Weed, mask, trim, and assemble vinyl graphics and signage
• Apply vinyl graphics to various substrates
• Assist with banner finishing, mounting, and packaging
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas

Customer Support & Team Collaboration

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding artwork and revisions
• Collaborate with sales and production team members to meet deadlines
• Help ensure projects are completed accurately and on time
• Participate in shop installations when needed

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of graphic design principles
• Familiarity with Flexi preferred
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous sign shop experience is a plus, but not required
