Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local client for a reliable, detail-oriented Office Support / Accouting Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Answering phones and helping customers
  • Taking and processing payments over the phone
  • Setting up new customer accounts
  • Maintaining accurate records and account information
  • Supporting daily office operations

  • Monthly invoices mailed to customers

They serve a large customer base (thousands of accounts), so accuracy and organization are key. The right person will come in ready to learn their current processes. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong QuickBooks experience (intermediate to advanced preferred)
  • Previous experience in office support, bookkeeping, or administrative roles
  • Comfortable working in a manual, paper-driven environment
  • Ability to multitask, handle interruptions, and reprioritize throughout the day
  • Dependable and able to work independently in a small office setting

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to occasionally assist outside the office, including:
    • Supporting operations on the floor
    • Lifting and moving up to 50 lbs repetitively

Pay & Details:

  • Starting around $20/hour, with flexibility up to $25/hour for the right experience
  • Opportunity for long-term placement with the client
