Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator – HVAC & Appliance Distribution

Location: McAllen, TX

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Warehouse Associates / Forklift Operators for a leading distribution company in McAllen specializing in HVAC equipment, refrigerators, and food service equipment. This role involves warehouse operations, material handling, inventory movement, and forklift operation in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and organize HVAC equipment, appliances, and warehouse inventory
• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, appliance lifts, and cherry pickers safely
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization
• Inspect materials and equipment for damages or shortages
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience required
• Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials and equipment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to safety and organization
• Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
• Steel-toe or safety footwear required

Work Environment

• Warehouse and distribution setting handling HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and food service products
• Physical work involving lifting, moving, and operating warehouse equipment throughout the shift
