Hotel Maintenance Technician
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour
Flexible 4-Day or 5-Day Schedule Available

 

A local hotel is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property. This position is ideal for someone with handyman, maintenance, construction, or pool maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving.

Job Duties:

• Check and maintain pool chemicals
• Complete general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel
• Assist with upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, parking lot grounds, and exterior property
• Perform handyman-type repairs including painting, fixing TVs, replacing tub spouts, repairing toilet parts, and other maintenance tasks as needed
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for guests and staff

Schedule:

• Flexible 4-day or 5-day work week available
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required during busy/summer season
• 5-day schedule: generally 8-hour shifts
• 4-day schedule: 8–10 hour shifts while staying within 40 hours/week

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance, handyman work, construction, or pool maintenance preferred
• Pool maintenance experience is a plus
• Reliable with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors

Dress Code:

• Black or navy blue t-shirt, polo, or long-sleeve shirt
• Pants with no holes
• Closed-toe shoes required
• No shorts, slides, or slippers permitted

Additional Information:

• Starting pay is $16.00/hour with opportunity for increase upon direct hire
• Training provided on pool maintenance and hotel upkeep tasks
• Candidate will report directly to hotel management and regional leadership
