Fleet Technician ll

A Tulsa company is currently seeking a Fleet Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on their fleet of emergency and support vehicles! 

 

SCHEDULE: This position requires nights, weekends and holidays. 

HOURS: A standard shift will be provided, but will fluctuate at times. 

                     **FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST FOR THIS ROLE!**

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance including, but not limited to oil changes and tune-ups on company vehicles, ambulances, heavy equipment, trailers, and other motor vehicles.
• Accurately diagnose and effectively repair and or replace the parts and systems necessary including brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
• Perform necessary testing and diagnostic assessment of parts, systems, and vehicles. 
• Perform routine assessments on critical parts and systems. 
• Properly test drive vehicle.
• Accurately maintain vehicle repair and maintenance records. 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Two years of related experience with Ford and Chevy diesel engine diagnosis and repair preferred. 
• Strong mechanical repair skills. 
• Ability to read service and repair manuals. 
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effective time-management skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
