Our Pickering client, an Electrical Service and Repair company, is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Oversee all pre-construction and electrical project activities including scope development, scheduling, and risk identification
• Prepare project estimates and collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate costing
• Participate in Sales/Estimating handoff meetings to ensure alignment on project expectations
• Lead meetings with Foremen and site teams to review project execution plans
• Monitor project scope, scheduling, costs, and overall financial performance throughout the project
• Manage procurement activities including material purchasing, equipment coordination, subcontract management, and shop drawing approvals
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts and subcontracts
• Handle change orders and pricing adjustments with clients
• Resolve client concerns and maintain strong customer relationships throughout all phases of project
• Ensure projects comply with Ontario Electrical Safety Code requirements, industry regulations, and company safety standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Trade license or a Construction/Engineering Diploma/Degree
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience (Electrical Construction or retrofit projects)
• Previous hands-on experience working as an Electrician
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project), ACCUBID and AutoCAD
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Electrical construction methods and materials
  • Estimating and budgeting principles and Construction contracts
  • Ontario Electrical Safety Code
• Ability to read and interpret construction and electrical drawings
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and client relationships
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Bonus Qualifications:

• PMP Certification (strong asset)
• Experience working on institutional projects
• Experience leading large-scale electrical construction projects from start to finish

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Salary: $72,800 - $100,000 per annum
