Shift: Mon – Thur (5am-3pm)

Pay Rate: $21-$30.00p/ht (BOE)

Description: The Machine Operator II is responsible for the manufacture of parts per print and specifications in an accurate and timely manner as well as the cleanliness of the work area. The Machine Operator II performs advanced setups, major changeovers, first-piece inspections and quality checks on subsequent produced pieces. Maintain production documentation and make all global shop transactions for parts produced, scrapped, or moved. Candidates must have the ability to complete advanced set ups and major changeovers on machines with direction and support from Machine Technicians. Set up and run clippers, rotary trimmers, or other secondary equipment. Complete set ups, inserting raw materials, loading programs, and operating machinery to produce quality finished products. Candidates must possess the ability to read work orders and work instructions as needed. Stage materials that are used in the production of finished goods. Measure and inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Candidates must have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
