Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a motivated Locksmith Trainee for a local company. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in a skilled trade—no previous locksmith experience required! Training will be provided for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow.

Job Duties:

May include but are not limited to the following:

• Respond to service calls to assist with residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith needs
• Install, repair, and replace locks, keys, and security systems
• Provide emergency lockout services
• Travel to job sites using company vehicle
• Deliver excellent customer service while on calls
• Learn locksmith tools, techniques, and safety procedures on the job
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with dispatch

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license required
• Clean background check
• Strong willingness to learn a new trade
• Ability to work independently and on-call when needed
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Customer service experience is helpful but not required

Hours/Shift:

• Part-time to start, with transition to full-time upon hire
• Must be available for on-call shifts 24 hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Pay:

• $100/day for scheduled on-call shifts ($200 total for Tuesday & Wednesday)
• $18/hour while actively responding to service calls
