1st Shift - Machine Operator

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $15.00 / hr

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for an Entry Level Machine Operator position in the Refrigeration Department with a Fast-Growing Tubing Manufacturer. This position will pay $15.00 per hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday: 1st Shift from 6:00AM-2:30PM and 2nd Shift is from 2:25PM-10:55PM. 

 Responsibilities:

• Review work instructions and check all preceding process steps have been completed
• Ability to read, interpret and process product according to work instructions specifications.
• Start machine and adjust valves necessary to obtain desired results
• Utilize pliers or clamp for handling hot parts
• Operate a Blue Cutter machine.
• Participate in quality control checks of products
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting and moving up to 20 lbs.
• Demonstrates ability to learn tasks quickly 
• Pays attention to details and is reliable
• Ability to read, interpret, and process product according to work instructions
• Previous Machine Operation and Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
• Capable of standing on concrete for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a temperature controlled environment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Brazing glasses, Gloves, and Guards
