Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking dependable and detail‑oriented candidates for Paint Prep/Painter openings in Hugo, MN. Hourly Pay: $20.00–$22.00/Hour

Schedule: Hours vary — days, nights, and weekends

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare metal parts for coating by sanding, masking, cleaning, and inspecting surfaces

  • Operate spray equipment to apply primer and topcoat finishes according to specifications

  • Mix and adjust paint materials to achieve proper viscosity, coverage, and color match

  • Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and adherence to customer requirements

  • Maintain equipment, booths, and work areas to ensure safety and production efficiency

 

Qualifications

  • Previous paint prep or industrial painting experience preferred

  • Ability to work variable shifts including days, nights, and weekends

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions

  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
