Guillotine Cutter Machine Operator – Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for accurately cutting materials according to production specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to cut materials to required measurements and specifications
• Read and interpret work orders, and production schedules
• Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Record production data and complete required documentation
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
