Industrial Painter – Tank Trailer Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join a growing trailer tank manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing high-performance coatings, including two-part epoxy and polymer paints, on tanker trailers and components. Ideal candidates will have experience in industrial or automotive painting environments and strong attention to detail.

$25.00-$35.00

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, cleaning, and masking prior to painting
  • Mix and apply two-part epoxy and polymer coatings according to specifications
  • Operate spray equipment including airless and conventional spray guns
  • Ensure proper thickness, coverage, and finish quality of coatings
  • Inspect finished products and perform touch-ups as needed
  • Maintain paint equipment and ensure proper cleaning and storage
  • Follow all safety procedures related to coatings, chemicals, and PPE
  • Work with production team to meet deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of industrial painting experience required
  • Experience in manufacturing, heavy equipment, automotive, or trailer painting preferred
  • Experience with epoxy, urethane, or polymer-based coatings
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and technical instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching throughout shift
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Must be able to wear respirators and required PPE

Equipment Used

  • Airless and HVLP spray guns
  • Grinders, sanders, and surface preparation tools
  • Paint booths and curing equipment
  • Forklifts or material handling equipment (preferred)
