We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Apprentice Electrician to support electrical installation and tool hookup activities in Taylor, TX.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their electrical career in a fast-paced industrial/semiconductor environment while working under the guidance of licensed electricians and supervisors.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5:30AM - 4:30PM

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE

 

Required Qualifications

• TDLR Electrical Apprentice License or willing to obtain TDLR Apprentice Registration
• Valid OSHA 10 Construction Certification (required)
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-demand construction environment
• Reliable transportation to the Taylor, TX job site

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tool hookup and installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Support electrical material installation, including conduit, cable tray, and supports
• Perform cable pulling, routing, and securing in accordance with project specifications
• Assist with termination of electrical wiring and connections under supervision
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Maintain compliance with all site safety requirements and company policies
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
• Familiarity with semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech construction environments
• Experience with hand and power tools used in electrical installation

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a construction or industrial environment, including cleanroom settings
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work at heights, in tight spaces, and on ladders as needed
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require
