Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Warehouse Foreman for a local Omaha client!

Position Details:

• Type: Evaluation Hire

• Pay/Salary: Up to $24/hr

Job Duties:

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead and coordinate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to promote safety and productivity.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and logistics workflows.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities.
• Manage forklift operations and mechanical equipment maintenance to facilitate heavy lifting and materials handling safely.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for outbound and inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor shipping & receiving procedures, verifying accuracy of shipments against documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, discrepancies, and adjustments for audit readiness.
• Support the integration of e-commerce order fulfillment processes into warehouse operations.
• Foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Foreman or Supervisor with extensive warehouse management experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, logistics principles, and warehouse distribution practices.
• Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment like forklifts and other heavy machinery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively within fast-paced environments involving heavy lifting and materials handling.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process documentation.
• Ability to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations applicable to warehousing operations. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy within our warehouse environment.
