Our client is seeking Maintenance Technicians!

Dayshift will work Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Nightshift will work 4 days 10 hours shifts Monday – Thursday

Job Description:

• Assist the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor with departmental responsibilities including but not limited to repair and maintenance on CNC Machines, General Equipment and the building/facilities.
• Troubleshoot machine problems including, but not limited to, controllers & drives, electrical feeds, hydraulic, pneumatic components and HVAC, etc.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and/or mechanical defects in equipment.
• Use CMMS to determine assigned tasks and update task status as needed
• Perform Preventative Maintenance as required on equipment.
• Completes maintenance tasks and responds to service requests. Repairs and maintains electrical and mechanical issues of both machine and facilities.
• Interact with other departments to develop proactive steps to prevent machine failures.
• Maintain awareness of departmental policies and procedures
• Perform general cleanup of work area daily
• Handles all emergency call backs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager and/or immediate Supervisor
• Is knowledgeable of all QMS procedures and work instructions that apply to this job and the department ensuring that they are implemented or revised as necessary, and maintaining strong working knowledge of all documentation requirements.
• Willing to receive and, when assigned, provide cross training for other tasks related to department functions and procedures

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years CNC Maintenance experience
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Ability to read hydraulic blueprints
• Ability to read pneumatic blueprints
• Understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Understanding of preventative/predictive machine maintenance
• Basic PLC Knowledge
• Forklift experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• HVAC certified or have the ability to obtain certification
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Physical Demands

The associate required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  Also is required to reach with hands and arms; lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, for computer related entries and other tasks.
