Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead for a fast-paced party rental supply company. This role goes beyond traditional warehouse management and is ideal for a proactive leader who can balance operations, customer-facing decision-making, scheduling, and sales coordination. The Warehouse Lead will play a key role in daily execution, client communication, and supporting growth through planning and marketing collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Operations Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, staging, loading, unloading, and equipment organization
- Ensure rental items are cleaned, inspected, prepped, and ready for events on schedule
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Implement and improve processes to support accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery
Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Schedule, supervise, and support warehouse and delivery crew
- Assign daily tasks and ensure crews are prepared for scheduled events
- Provide hands-on leadership and problem-solving support as needed
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
Client Communication & Decision-Making
- Serve as a point of contact for client-facing conversations when operational decisions are required
- Confidently communicate timelines, logistics, and solutions to clients
- Collaborate with sales and leadership to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
Sales Coordination & Planning
- Support sales efforts by coordinating inventory availability and event logistics
- Assist with planning for upcoming events, large orders, and peak seasons
- Communicate proactively with sales and office teams regarding capacity, scheduling, and changes
Marketing & Growth Support
- Assist leadership with planning, promotions, and operational input for marketing initiatives
- Provide insight on inventory trends, popular items, and opportunities for growth
- Support special projects related to expansion, events, or operational improvements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse management, operations, logistics, or event rental preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Comfortable handling client-facing conversations and decision-making
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to balance warehouse duties with planning, coordination, and sales support
- Valid California Driver’s License required
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift and move rental equipment as needed
