As a Skilled Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes while maintaining safety and professionalism on the job site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, cleaning, and priming.
• Apply paint, stain, sealants, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Perform color matching and ensure consistent, high-quality finishes.
• Protect surrounding areas, furniture, flooring, fixtures, and landscaping with appropriate coverings and masking materials.
• Repair and prepare surfaces, including drywall patching and minor carpentry work as needed.
• Operate painting equipment, ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Complete repainting, maintenance painting, touch-up work, and new construction painting projects.
• Assist with pressure washing, surface cleaning, and exterior preparation activities.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to project schedules and deadlines.
• Follow all company and client safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers regarding project progress and expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous professional painting experience required.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, finishes, and surface preparation methods.
• Experience with brushes, rollers, spray equipment, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Ability to read work orders, follow instructions, and complete projects efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial painting environments preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move painting materials and equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions.
