Our client, a well‑established third‑party warehousing and logistics provider, is looking to hire an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join their operations team. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role requiring strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and proven experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Forklift Operations: Safely and efficiently operate an electric counterbalance forklift (4,000 lb capacity), including stacking and racking pallets at heights of up to 19 feet in tight warehouse spaces
• Shipping & Receiving: Load, unload, stage, and verify incoming and outgoing orders against packing slips and pick sheets to ensure accuracy
• Order Fulfillment: Perform daily order picking and prepare pallets using hand stretch wrap for secure transport
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels using FIFO (First‑In, First‑Out) procedures; organize and rotate stock as required
• Container Unloading: De‑stuff 20’ and 40’ floor‑loaded containers; palletize and wrap products according to specifications
• Warehouse Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including proper waste and recycling procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse experience (required)
• Forklift Certification: Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification with at least 3 years of active operating experience
• Physical Requirements: Ability to repeatedly lift and move 40–75 lbs
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Transportation: Reliable personal transportation required (location is not easily accessible by public transit)
• Language: Fluent English (required)
