We are looking for a motivated individual for a Janitorial DSP Crew position in the Roseburg area.

Wage: $16.50+/HR DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday/Saturdays may be required


Individual will be working with a janitorial crew cleaning, mopping, dusting, vacuuming in a business/industrial setting. Safely drive crew to various locations in the community and maintain security at facilities. This position will serve as a role model for appropriate work behaviors.


Prior experience is a plus!

 

Job Duties:

•Provide commercial janitorial services at client facilities in a team environment with crew members and trainees within prescribed time limits, including cleaning, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning, carpet shampooing, window washing, trash collection, maintaining hard floor surfaces (stripping and waxing), using floor equipment, stairwell maintenance, and taking cleaning product from room to room (as per terms and standards of contract).
•Control costs of contract through efficient labor and material use, properly accounting for materials and chemicals.
•Inform supervisor in a timely manner when materials or products need to be purchased.
•Maintain and ensure security at all facilities.
•Serve as a role model for appropriate work behaviors, social skills, respect for others, and cooperation.
•Utilize tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe manner as prescribed by corporate procedures, utilizing a “safety first” approach at all times.
•Understand proper use of chemicals and be familiar with their SDS, properly following safety protocols.
•Know and follow existing quality control of product or service being produced. Conduct and document inspections to ensure staff compliance with contract requirements.
•Perform duties and complete tasks as requested by supervisor in a reasonable amount of time.
•Maintain agency records in a professional manner consistent with prescribed guidelines and expectations.
•Attend and participate in required meetings, trainings, and committees.
•Do not exceed responsibility/authority delegated to you by supervisor.
•Exhibit good judgment in situations not specifically covered by agency policy or procedures.
•Participate in safety and safety programs.
•Keep work area in a clean, safe condition.
•Report any safety hazards, accidents, incidents of neglect, abuse, emergencies, or problems to supervisor and/or appropriate person per policy.
•Submit timesheets and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
•Meet regular attendance requirements at assigned worksite because job requires face-to-face interaction with clients, customers, or other employees, and/or because job utilizes on-site product and equipment.

Requirement:

- Bending, twisting, stooping, pulling, pushing, and standing during entire shift.
- Consistently lifting/pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- High-school diploma or GED
- Good communication skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, dependable and motivated.
