Commercial Kitchen Service Technician (Mid & Senior Level) – Direct Hire

Locations: Tampa • Sarasota • Orlando, FL

Pay:

• Mid-Level: $45–$52+ per hour (effective earnings)

• Senior: $52–$60+ per hour (effective earnings) Includes hourly pay, overtime, and production-based commission

Position Overview

We are recruiting experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians for direct-hire roles. Technicians will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment for restaurants, healthcare facilities, and large foodservice operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hot-side equipment (ovens, fryers, grills, steamers)

• Service refrigeration equipment (reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines)

• Perform preventive maintenance

• Communicate clearly with customers

• Complete digital work orders with notes/photos

• Identify additional repair needs

• Maintain tools, equipment, and truck inventory

Qualifications

Mid-Level

• 3–5+ years in food equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, or similar

• Strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting

• Able to run most service calls independently

Senior Level

• 5–8+ years experience

• Advanced diagnostics (hot-side and/or refrigeration)

• Able to handle complex calls and mentor others

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record

• Ability to pass background check

• Strong professionalism and work ethic

Preferred (Not Required): EPA, CFESA, manufacturer certifications, gas/electrical certifications
