Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production and packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for scheduling, quality control, safety, training, and maintaining efficiency across production lines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment while supporting a productive and organized work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee production and packaging scheduling and daily operations
  • Train employees on manual production lines and ensure adherence to procedures
  • Monitor quality control of finished goods and assist with routine QC checks
  • Maintain labels and supplies for all orders and ensure pallet configurations meet requirements
  • Utilize SAP/WMS systems for data entry and production tracking
  • Hold meetings with production staff and communicate updates
  • Identify and report issues related to production lines, materials, or equipment
  • Assist with basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance support
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production area
  • Minimize downtime through root cause analysis and timely issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and GMPs

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Prior production experience, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
  • Working knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • SAP and/or WMS experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Moderate technical and mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and work with diverse teams
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day
  • Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (25 lbs frequently)
